About Us

Business Cadetships are:

dynamic

The Business Cadetships Program was established by Professional Cadetships Australia in 2007 when it ran a pilot program in Sydney. In 2008, the Program was open to Year 12 students from all schools in NSW, providing them with the opportunity to apply for a cadetship with a leading company in the banking and finance sector. In 2009 Professional Cadetships Australia ran the UBS Cadetships Program for UBS Investment Bank.

individual

As a Business Cadet you combine study at university with paid work for one of the Program Companies. The Business Cadetships Program allows you to choose the university where you will study while Professional Cadetships Australia determines which Program Company you will be best suited to.

flexible

Once you have been selected as a preferred applicant for a cadetship, you will meet with the company to discuss the most suitable way of combining university study with paid work. Your Business Cadetship is a partnership: it is very important that the integration of study and work suits both you and the company.

Applications

It is not possible to apply for a Business Cadetship at the current time. However, applications may be made for a UBS Cadetship by clicking here.

The Business Cadetships Program values equity and diversity. Successful candidates will be determined on merit, regardless of their school, gender or cultural background.
